Hello everyone!
Last weekend was a very fun one for us. Saturday was my sister's 22nd birthday. She decided that she wanted to celebrate it at Scandia with me, Jon and Lance. We had a ton of fun mini golfing, driving the race cars and going on the bumper boats. Then that night, we went to a dinner at one of the local country clubs that was hosted by my dad's construction company. It was a really amazing evening, as my dad ended up being the "man of the hour", as Lance kept referring to him as. It was so nice to see so many people come up to my dad and thank him for the amazing job he has done remodeling people's homes over the last 24 years. I'm so proud of him! On Sunday (Father's Day) Bre and I took him to The Jelly Belly Factory. We toured the facility and made sure to grab some jelly beans on our way out! He had never been there before, so it was a fun experience for him. Bre and I took him to lunch and then we all went to P.F. Changs for dinner that night. The food was amazing! We'll definitely go back there....hopefully soon!
I went and saw the Orthopedist last Tuesday and he told me that I have a bulged disk in my lower back. He wrote me a prescription to see a physical therapist 2 times a week for the next 4-6 weeks and then he wants me to go back to see him in a month. This all sounds really great, but unfortunately, the preschool is not very flexible when it comes to getting time off, so I'm not quite sure how I'm going to work this one out. Hopefully things will fall into place for me on this one.
I stepped on the scale this morning and was pleasantly surprised at what I saw....I have dropped another 3 pounds, which takes me to my grand total (thus far) to 20 pounds lost! I was so excited that I went out and bought a couple new shirts. I have dropped one pant size so far and 1-2 shirt sizes (depending on the shirt). I still have a long way to go, but this morning really renewed my confidence that I can conquer this!
Enjoy the pics and have a great weekend!
