Always Singing

It's no secret that I love to sing in the car. I don't do it much with other people in my car and I don't do it when Lance is with me, but I do it all the time when I'm by myself. I love belting out a good tune and I never care who's watching me.

I remember this one day about a year ago when I was headed to the movie theater to pick up some movie tickets. Like ususal, I was singing away. I had a guy pull up beside me at a light and smile. I quickly turned away and kept on singing. The light turned green and we both went our separate ways...or so I thought. I pulled up to the theater and got out of my car. While standing in line, I heard a voice right behind me say, "So...what song were you singing?" I blushed, bought my ticket and left quickly. It was the first time I had been embarrassed. For some reason, I can get up and sing in front of hundreds, even thousands, of people and not be scared or embarrassed, yet for some reason I wanted to crawl inside myself when the guy approached me.

On my way to work this morning, I pulled up to a red light. I was belting out a song that I hadn't heard in a while (and I won't discuss which song it was for fear of being teased...I'll just say it was a newer pop song) when I looked over and saw the girl in the car next to me singing also. Then I realized that we were singing the same song! She must have realized what was happening because she broke out in laughter.

Good times, good times!

Heck no! LOL! =)

But, I can do an impression of Cher. Lance totally cracks up when I do it. I don't do it very often, though. It's a special treat. =)

Always singing... That sounds a lot like Madision these days. She is ALWAYS singing something. You have got to hear her some time -- she is actually pretty amazing (of course in my totally unbiased opinion ;) ). In fact we are taking her to singing lessons because she enjoys it so much.

Would love to see the Cher impression...
