Pergo

Tonight was one of those nights when I really started to miss having laminate flooring. In our old house, we tore out the carpet and put down Pergo. It made a world of difference, both with the way the house looked inside and how easy it was to clean and keep clean.

It is SOOO hard to keep carpet clean and presentable when you have animals. Willy was put in our bedroom while Lance went outside to feed Argos tonight. A car backfired outside and I knew instantly that Willy would pee all over our room. Sure enough, he peed on Lance's side of the bed and at the foot of the bed. To top it off, he also peed on our comforter. Good thing I had an extra one!

With laminate flooring, all we would have to do it wipe it up. No fuss...no mess...simple. With carpet, we had to get as much as we could with a paper towel, then spray some Nature's Miracle on it, then cover it with towels so we could still walk in the room. Such a pain. Then you just hope that it doesn't smell too much. I don't have much of a sense of smell anyway, but I'm always nervous that it is going to be really stinky.

Oh, how I miss my Pergo!!! One day, I'll get it again.
