Ever since we moved into our current house, we have experienced problems with our Directv service. I don't know how many times Lance has had to call them for certain things. Recently, our recorder has been acting up. We'll start to watch a show that we have recorded and it will freeze. It started out happening every once in a while. Then, about two days ago, I'd be able to watch a show for about 2 minutes and then it would freeze. It would start playing again and then freeze in another 2 minutes. It started driving us nuts!
Today I came home and Lance informed me that our box won't even turn on now. Perfect. I have a few shows that are on right now that I've been looking forward to. As disappointed as I am, it's a good reminder of how lucky I am to even have a luxury like that. I don't get to watch much TV as it is, but it has always been nice to turn something on and zone out for a bit after a long day. I guess I HAVE to talk to my husband every night now!

I think I'm gonna get a tattoo.
That's what I was thinking, too. I don't know what other explaination it could be besides Satan!
It's okay...no worries! I barely have time to write everyday and I never expect that people are going to be able to read them...especially on any kind of regular basis. How are you doing? Are you back in school?
A tattoo, huh? What kind of design are you thinking? I'm way too chicken to get one, especially after watching my sister get one this summer. She got one on the top of her foot. Apparently, that is not the most comfortable place to get one. I do think that they can definitely be beautiful pieces of art, though.
School starts in January, until then it's work, work, work.
I'm getting some Lawrence Ferlinghetti poetry on my upper back.
Well, it's really select phrases that I have underlined over the years from his book 'Coney Island of the Mind'. I'm going to work the phrases into a separate poem.
